| Sensei Steve Leggett will be in Bournemouth this month (May 21st) for the next gradings. He will also do a short seminar with a Q&A session. |

| Course and Grading |
| I would like to thank the Bournemouth members for showing a great display on the course. Sensei Steve L was very impressed with everyone and feels we are all moving in the right direction. Also an excellent effort in the grading and well done to Ralf for passing his 8th Kyu and with a very impressive display Sunday passing his Black Belt, with flying colours. |

| Congratulation to Ezissi Sunday for his great display in kumite event, in the 7th Legend open Shotokan Championships. He was unfortunately judged to have lost by one half point. Below is video footage of his fight, so you can decide, whether it was a good decision by the judges |

| A new Satori DVD will soon be available. The DVD contains extensive coverage of the shotokan grading system, from 9th Kyu (red belt) to 1st kyu (brown 3, one belt before black). The new DVD is interactive and contains techniques captured at different cameraangles and different speeds. It is the clearest and most detailed karate instructional DVD on the market................. More to follow soon. |
