A colleague, is producing a magazine about the club and martial arts.
Topics including:
History
Technique
How we train
How are we different
Effective applications
etc...
It would include photos, ads, interviews the lot.
He will ask afew questions on this forum, before coming to take photos, interviews etc.

Hi, I'll be working on a magazine for your club in the next few days and would be grateful for some imput. For example, if anyone has a story of some substance relating to how the club has benefited you since you started training there? How would you recommend Satori to other people who might be thinking of joining? Since joining Satori yourself, have you found yourself in a situation where you have needed/ been forced to use any of your skills?
Also, I will be using various photographs in the publication. If anyone objects to having their picture on display, please inform Steve and it will be secluded.
Anyway thanks and I look forward to hear/ write about your opinions on the club,
Dan

What makes Satori better than other clubs?

I will tell the members to give you as much input as possible

I am afraid that I personally cannot help with any breathtaking stories. Although I have been in situations where I was much calmer because of the reassurance my training is giving me, I was fortunately not yet forced to apply it in combat.
Regarding the use of photos I see no problems and would be more than happy to assist with a couple of nice shots for your magazine. However, I will not give a carte blanche. Before publication I would like to approve the pictures depicting myself. If that is no option, I will opt out.

I think that avoiding combat (keeping calm) is as much of a skill in self defense than actual combat. If you can give an example of that, it would be much appreciated. Also don't worry about the photos. If you don't like the image we won't use it or it'll be substituted for one that you think is more appropriate.

Too bad you could not make it to one of the training sessions last week. If you still want to take some shots and talk to people, Wednesday is your last chance before Easter (Thursday training is suspended until the 30. April and the next Friday is already Good Friday).
