Both Iaido and Kendo are related with each other. Both are the study of the Sword art of Japanese. Kendo is the art of fencing and Iaido is the art of drawing the sword. The training of the Kendo is very intense and Iaido is related with the attacking and defending practices.

From experience the art of Iaido is not drawing the sword but the notto (sheathing the sword).
