Based in Bournemouth, Dorset, Satori Martial Arts Bournemouth was founded by Steve Goodhand in 2007. SMA is a member of the British National Martial Arts Association. The club offers training in both self defence and sport martial arts. Including full, semi contact and point competition. You have the chance to compete in any disciplin including: karate, freestyle, MMA and kickboxing. There is no stress on competition; Its entirely up to the student if they want to compete. The training covers all areas of martial arts including technique, pad work, grappling, sparring and street self defence. Weapons training is also offered including knives, nunchakus and kubotan.

Membership  

As a member of the SMA you'll will also be a member of BNMA one of the largest martial art govering bodies in the country.

Based in the Nirvana Fitness Center. There the training is overseen by chief instructor Chris Broadley (5th Dan) an experienced teacher with over 30 years of Karate history.
